Some people tell me that links from social media (mostly Facebook) don’t take them to where they expect to go. When they click on an image link they expect to go to that image on the website but it only takes them to the gallery  where they then have to find the image themselves. It’s a good point and if I want to sell the image it’s obviously best if there are as few obstacles as possible. I’m experimenting with a landing page which is where a link from an image post will lead. I don’t know how this will work over time – obviously I don’t want too many landing pages but we’ll see what happens and I can adjust it as needed.  

I’ll do another post with an image from a recent Facebook post and On Facebook I’ll then add a link to the new post (previously I’ve only linked to the gallery). We’ll see how it works.
