The FV Resolution II crossing the Grey River bar coming in from a turbulent Tasman Sea. 9 May 2023. The image portrays the miserable conditions – heavy rain, fog and a rough sea.  The skipper judged the conditions carefully, waiting offshore for some time before committing to make the approach and made a safe entry to the Grey River. Onshore conditions were equally unpleasant and this photographer got very wet.
