Streams and Waterfalls
In a land of high mountains, lush forests, swift-flowing rivers and streams combined with a high annual rainfall it is no surprise that waterfalls are plentiful and often spectacular.
Search by the main part of a name. Don’t use words or numerals under 3 characters long, e.g. Sea Emerald is fine, Te Aroha is not but a search for just Aroha will find it. Galatea II won’t work but just Galatea will find it.

Mangatini Falls can be seen from the Charming Creek Walkway in northern Buller. The walkway follows an old railway alongside the Ngakawau River. More information in links below.
